Closing of dilated blood vessels.

One of the first symptoms suggesting the dilation of small skin vessels in the face area is erythema, initially only transient one, induced by different stimuli, e.g. hot dishes, alcohol consumption.

With time erythema develops permanently, causing persistent skin reddening. At the base of this disorder there appear dilated blood vessels, seen through epidermis, described as teleangiectasia. The removal of teleangiectasias involves closing a blood vessel by coagulation of blood that occurrs inside the vessel. An appropraite method of treatment depends on a kind of blood vessels, their size and location.

In our clinic we perform closing of dilated blood vessels by means of a laser method, with the use of an American laser- VasculiteŽ by LumenisŽ.
