Filling in the wrinkles with hyaluronic acid

The derivatives of hyaluronic acid, used in the fillers, are the ideal material filling in the tissue deficiency of a naturally occurring compound, thus increasing the degree of moisturizing the skin and smoothing the existing wrinkles.

Hyaluronic acid has no allergic properties, and therefore there is no need for testing prior to the treatment. The fillers on the basis of hyaluronic acid are used for the correction of shallow wrinkles, for example in the vicinity of the eyes and over the upper lip, as well as for the correction of deep folds, for instance the nasal-labial ones. The group of volumetric preparations is used for shaping facial features and increasing the volume in the vicinity of the temples, cheekbones, cheeks and chin, which leads to the youthful look restoration of the face.

The course of treatment:
The treatment is usually preceded by a local application of cream containing the anaesthetic. The preparation containing hyaluronic acid is administered with a thin needle, which reduces the sensation of pain. After the treatment, the patient is not excluded from everyday professional and social life. The time of the obtained aesthetic effect is maintained from 6 to 12 months.

The rules of conduct after the treatment:
Within 1-2 days after the treatment, the oedema (the swelling) may be mainained at the area subject to the injection. For a few hours after the treatment the over-expression of the face should be avoided, as well as touching and massaging the injection spots. After the treatment, the patients should avoid an excessive exposure to the sun and use a barrier cream with UV filter.

Contraindications to the procedure:
