Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is one of the most popular methods in aesthetic dermatology. It consists in the use of intracutaneous or subcutaneous injections of preparations containing specially selected ingredients that provide a therapeutic and cosmetic activity in the application place.

The composition of medicinal, revitalizing and regenerating, ingredients, is selected depending on the definite cosmetic or dermatological problem. Thanks to the direct delivery of healing and nourishing substances through the injection in the right places, such as face, neck, shoulders, hairy scalp, buttocks, abdomen or thighs, it is a perfect way to prevent skin aging, hair loss and the formation of cellulite. The treatments may be performed only by a physician using an appropriately chosen size of a needle and a syringe or a gun for mesotherapy. The punctures are performed at intervals of 0,5-1,5 cm. The pain associated with the superficial injections during and after the treatment is minimal.

  • Hypertrophic scars, keloids
  • Stretch marks
  • Symptoms of photoageing: loss of elasticity, pigmentation disorders, wrinkles
The rules of conduct after the treatment:

    • In the areas subjected to the treatment, the erythema and oedema may appear, subsiding after a few days. The marks of needle injections may be seen for several days after the treatment.
    • The skin may be subjected to everyday hygiene and care treatments.

Contraindications for the procedure:

    • Pregnancy and breast feeding
    • Allergic diseases
    • Disorders of blood coagulation, treatment with oral anticoagulants
    • Infectious skin diseases (viral, bacterial and fungal infections)
    • Neoplasmatic diseases, metabolic disorders (i.e. diabetes)
Contraindications for microdermabrasion:

  • Active viral, bacterial and fungal infections
  • Acne pustulosa and phlegmonosa
  • Severe rosacea
  • Loss of skin continuity
  • Oral treatment with isotretinoin – the procedure can be performer in 3-6 months after the end of therapy
  • Keloidal tendency
